I'm migrating Exchange 2010 mailboxes to Office 365. I use the New-MailboxExportRequest cmdlet to export the mailboxes to pst files.
Does the MailboxExportRequest include calendar and contacts by default? or do I have to mention them specifically to the command?

We have a multiple site organization and we have deploy Exchange 2013 Mailbox and CAS servers at these various location. When we attempt to change, lets say EWS (Default Web Site) permissions from the Exchange Admin Console and select that remote sites
CAS Server to bring up the EWS properties, it takes a good 5 minutes to populate the Authentication information.
However if we perform the same steps and select the local CAS server the information appears and populates fairly quickly. We have fast connection between the two sites. We have been having to resort to connecting to the remote sites server and perform the action from there.
I am curious if anyone else has experienced this slowness when attempting to make changes to remote site from the Exchange Admin console.

Our team recently renewed our Federation Gateway certificate which is working. However, we now have the old certificate that is still on our Exchange servers but has expired. When we try to remove the expired certificate, we get an error. We issued the PowerShell command "Get-FederationTrust | Select Org*Certificate" and we can see that the old certificate Thumbprint is listed in theOrgPrevPrivCertificate field. We have searched through TechNet, but have not found any procedure that describes how to remove the old certificate after it has been replaced with a new certificate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Two weeks back we have upgraded our exchange environment from Cu15 to CU22 (Exchange 2013).
Now we found that we are unable to convert a regular mailbox to shared mailbox. The powershell command failed with below error

Suppose "LoadGen Objects" OU and Sub-OU are already created by Load Generator 2010 in AD. Later, I have installed Load Generator 2013 in same AD environment, and now i am trying to re-configure "Recipient Management" with additional servers/DBs and mailbox count . So in this scenario.. will my nwe LoadGen2013 create new OU for "LoadGen Objects" in AD or it is going to use existing OU by adding just required Sub-OU?

I use a third party audit tool for our environment. The third party tool uses Search-AdminAuditLog. I noticed errors appearing in Event Viewer showing Search-AdminAuditLog failed. If run the command in EMS, I see the error Search-AdminAuditLog: The attempt to search the administrator audit log failed. Please try again later.
I made multiple changes to the Exchange 2013 and had to undo 1 by 1 until I found why the cmdlet was failing. I discovered it was disabled TLS1.0. I enable TLS1.0 and Search-AdminAuditLog works correctly. Other services works fine when
only TLS1.2 is enabled, like OWA. I do not use POP3 and IMAP. I have read TLS1.0 disabled can break POP3 and IMAP. Any other cmdlets that did not work correctly when TLS1.0 is disabled?
In a test environment, I update from CU18 to CU23 and did not correct the issue. Does anyone know why TLS1.0 needs to be enabled for the cmdlet to work correctly? Is there something else that needs to be updated, enabled, or disabled to make Search-AdminAuditLog work correctly when TLS1.0 is disabled? I assume this is not the behavior for Exchange 2016 and 2019. Yes or No?

We have a multi-tenant AD and want to assign a role or management role to multiple OU's. Each customer has it's own OU. That way our customer support can assign full access rights to mailboxes of franchising customers. But we want this only for the customers who are in a franchise with each other so not for all customers.

I have exchange 2013. I have a user receiving the following message when she replies to users from her inbox:
This message could not be sent. Try sending the message again later, or contact your network administrator. You do not have the permission to send the message on behalf of the specified user. Error is [0x80070005-0x0004dc-0x000524].
She is not sending on behalf of a user or shared mailbox. These are emails she receives in her inbox. She cannot reply to the user. This started happening 2 days ago. She is the only one having the problem.

i am using exchange server 2010 and configure my email account in 2 PC. one PC it is active sync account and other one is POP3 account. i configure my POP3 account to leave a copy on server. what problem is that when POP3 account download email it is marked and reads on server. is it possible that these email show unread on server and what setting i do that it show unread.
