This is a two part issue, both parts are related to global monitoring overrides within my Exchange 2013 CU12 environment:
1) I cannot remove the global override for the Monitor ECP\EacCtpMonitor. When I run the remove-globalmonitoringoverride command for this monitor I get the following error:
"Failed to perform global monitoring override operation as required container 'EacCtpMonitor' was not found."
My best guess is that this monitor was removed as I cannot find it when I run the get-monitoringitemidentity for ECP. It must have been removed since we upgrade to either CU11 or 12, I am not sure which. I know how to find the override in ADSI edit (Configuration > Services > Microsoft Exchange > Domain > Monitoring Settings > Overrides > Monitor > ECP). Also strange is the the CN of the monitor in ASDI edit is EacCtpMonitor\. That ending "\" seems out of place.
2) I have the same issue with another monitor, however, it does exist this time. After upgrading to CU12 my override for monitor MailboxSpace\StorageLogicalDriveSpaceMonitor can no longer be removed. When I look in ADSI Edit (same place as above) I find that the CN of monitor is MonitorSpaceCNF:23bdf0ed-2add-4479-a192-ebca9d2037ec instead of just MonitorSpace as it should be. Whenever I try to remove the override it says it cannot be found, presumably because the name is not what Exchange is expecting.
In both cases I was wondering it if it ok to just delete the Monitor override directly from ADSI Edit, as it does not seem to be possible from Exchange powershell?
