I have an issue where Exchange 2013 is not truncating logs after a full backup. The backup succeeds and does not show any errors, but the truncations process is never triggered and it is because the full backup date is never set for the database, even the full backup completes with no errors.
For Exchange 2010, there was this script that made troubleshooting really easy:
troubleshoot-your-exchange-2010-database-backup-functionality
Unfortunately, it was hard-coded for Exchange 2010. Is there an equivalent for 2013?
If not, how do I determine why the full backup is not marking the database as backed up so the process to truncate the logs gets triggered?
An update to that script would be FANTASTIC and (obviously) help many users troubleshoot there problems.
TIA
