Hello everyone,
Hopefully someone can shine some light on this situation for me. I have been searching and doing research (google) for the last few hours on this subject, but I have not found anything that is directly related to the problem that I seem to be having. I recently installed Exchange 2013 on 2012 standard Server in Feb 22, 2013, I move the mailbox databse path to another drive succesfully. I noticed recently a lot of log files (e0000000001.log and E00res0000A.jrs) on:
C:\program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Mailbox\Mailbox Databse xxxxxxxxxxx
What really confuses me is that fact that I keep having these "e0000000001.log" files created. The mailbox folder is about 15GB, but the database is only 9GB. These files are continuously being created. I have about 15.178 at the moment created already. They are all exactly 1,024kb in size.
Is something wrong? is this normal? should I delete these? Someone please let me know what to do, because I am lost. Thank you!!
