I really appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this. This weird behaviour started since last week. We got exchange 2013 single server (Build 847.32) and it was working perfectly fine without missing a beat since last week. All of a sudden it stops sending and receiving emails and since this is the only production exchange server I have no other alternative and restarted it. And once restarted everything was back to normal. And I went through logs and I found 1023 errors mentioning,
Windows cannot load the extensible counter DLL MSExchangeIS. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the Windows error code.
Windows cannot load the extensible counter DLL MSExchange ADAccess. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the Windows error code.
Windows cannot load the extensible counter DLL ESE. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the Windows error code.
When I check the registry for those modules, the DLL path i found was "C:\ProgramFiles\Microsoft\ExchangeServer\V15\Bin\perf\AMD64" and I can see the correct DLLs are there.
Can any of you shed some light on this? Thanks again
